Joy Division Unknown Pleasures French Import First Pressing Textured Cover

Artist: Joy Division, Title: Unknown Pleasures, French Import Release Label: Factory Records , Virgin France Year of Release:1981, Grading Method: Play, and Visual,, Goldmine Grade : Vinyl: Ex, :Cover: Ex, Discogs Genre: New Wave, Coldwave Notes: . Arguably one of the most iconic post punk albums. This French copy, although a first pressing in France was in fact only released in 1981 (where as the UK first pressing was 1979) This is a solid EX. Copy both sleeve, inner and record. The record does have some light sleeve scuffs, that do not affect play, as well as some smudges which again do not affect play. Some occasional light surface noise that is really only noticeable on the roll ins and outs. There are no scratches and it plays through without skips or jumps. The textured cover has faired well over the years. Deep black with very little scuffs or surface wear. Some slight edge chipping and spine creases. It does have a very light ring outline from the record inside, but does not have what I would call ring wear as it does not display surface wear (the ring outline is really only noticeable in reflected light) Seams are all intact. One corner had a slight ding, but the others are fairly nice. The inner sleeve is in fantastic shape with no tears or seam splits. Over all this is a fantastic copy that has been well cared for over the years. Price $45.00 (plus HST)

NOW SOLD 1967 THE PINK FLOYD See Emily Play/Scarecrow Capitol Canada Single

NOW SOLD Artist: Pink Floyd Title: See Emily Play/Scarecrow 7 inch, 45 rpm Single Label: Capitol Records Canada 72500 Year of Release:1967 Discogs Genre: Psychedelic Rock Grading Method: Play, and Visual,, Goldmine Grade : Vinyl: VG-VG+, :Cover NA Notes: Original 1967 release. Vinyl has some light scratches (more like sleeve scuffs), that do not affect play. No skips or jumps. Some light surface noise really only noticeable on the roll in and roll out. Unfortunately the original owenr did write there name on the label, but other than that this is a really nice copy of this tough to find Canadian release. I am unsure if the capitol sleeve is the original or not, but it is the one it came with when I aquired it years ago, and it also has the same name written on it that is on the label, so more than likely is the original (but no guarantee). Interesting that the bands name is printed as THE PINK FLOYD. Both songs are credited to Syd Barett. This Canadian version was not even listed on Discogs until I listed this one. Price NOW SOLD
