1968 THE ABSTRACTS-THE ABSTRACTS Pompeii WHITE LABEL PROMO USA Psych Rock

Artist: The Abstracts, Title: The Abstracts, Label: Pompeii USA SD 6002 Stereo Promo White Label, Matrix #: Year of Release:1968 Discogs Genre: Rock, Discogs Style: Psychedelic Rock, Grading Method: Play, and Visual,, Goldmine Grade : Vinyl: VG+, :Cover: VG, Notes: Rare U.S. A. promo white label copy of this tough to find Psych long player. This one plays through without skips or jumps. It has some light surface noise. Mostly ticks or crackles with the occasional louder pop on the quiet rolls outs. I should mention that there is a small scuffed area on the edge of the vinyl. It is on the edge so it affects play in no way. Just mentioning it for accuracies sake. Visually a few light scratches , and some scuffs, an edge finger print or two. This one has not been played out and the vinyl is still shiny and dark. The cover has some lighter creases some edge chipping, minor ring wear. And a small seam split along the bottom (about and inch long). It presents relatively nicely though. Lots of original gloss and bright colors. The other seams are all intact. The seams are all intact. This one is a very nice copy of this tough record to come by. Come check it out for yourself. Price $45 (plus tax)

We prefer face to face sales, but shipping and insurance can be arranged at the purchasers expense. The Labels below can be clicked on to take you to specific artists and genre listings. Vinyl is graded according to the Goldmine Standard and we do strive to give an accurate description, indicating if it have been visually graded or play graded. If there is a certain title that you are looking for please let us know as we have thousands of titles and they don’t all make it up on to the website right away. All prices are in Canadian Funds and I do collect HST on behalf of the Government. HST number and Receipts are provided

GOLDMINE GRADING SCALE

SS (Still Sealed) New record with original shrink wrap/packaging.

M (Mint) The record is perfect but not sealed anymore. / The sleeve is like new but not not sealed anymore.

NM (Near Mint) A very clean record. Near mint condition except for slight superficial scuffs. Played only a couple times, at most. / Sleeves with this rating may have small defects but will not have significant creases or splits.

EX (Excellent) Vinyl has only a couple minor surface scuffs, but no scratches. / Label has very slight evidence of wear, no writing and sharp coloring. Jacket has no seam splits, no creases, very minor chipping at edges/corners, very minor ring-wear, no writing.

VG+ (Very Good Plus) Record surfaces may have slight scuffs or light scratches, but are still primarily clean. No serious play issues. A well-cared-for-record. / Sleeves may have some creases or minor ring wear, but will not be split. May have chipping at edges or bumped corners, moderate ring wear, little to no writing. May have promo hole, slot or cut-out corner. (A grade that will satisfy most collectors.)

VG (Very Good) A used, reasonable copy to play. Many of the defects found in a VG+ copy will be more pronounced in VG condition. Surface noise but the record is still a decent copy. / Jacket may have seam split and/or chipping at edges or bumped corners with some writing, ring wear.

G (Good) Vinyl has lots of wear, skips and scratches are certain. Deeper scuffs are present. A record that has seen better days. / Jacket may have seam split and/or chipping at edges or bumped corners with writing, ring wear. Not a cover you would want to frame.

F (Fair) Vinyl Is ready for trash with skips, repeats, warping, and/or deep scratches, but may be a good album to buy to fill a need until a better copy is found. / Jacket has large splits and/or major chipping at edges and corners, water damage/stains, or major writing, or heavy ring wear.
