1968 BOHEMIAN VENDETTA Psych. Rarity. USA Stereo Pressing. Garage/Psych Classic

Artist: Bohemian Vendetta, Title: Bohemian Vendetta, Label: Mainstream Records USA S6106 Stereo, Matrix #:KY-533 , KY-532 (oddly enough KY-533 is etched and then scratched out on this side as well, clearly an error at the pressing plant) Year of Release:1968, Grading Method: Play, and Visual,, Goldmine Grade : Vinyl: VG+, :Cover: VG, Notes: This is a rare one. One of the more sought after Psych. Rarities. Thing is it’s a scorcher of a record as well, great guitar work and groovy organ work (including a very heavy slowed down cover of the Stones Satisfaction) . This is a great deep groove label Stereo USA Pressing. The only long player from Bohemian Vendetta. Visually the vinyl does have some lighter scratches and sleeve scuffs, but these do not affect play all that much. There is some surface noise and a few pops which can be heard during the quiet moments. It plays through without skips or jumps. The cover is in decent condition with some ring wear, and a delete/promo drill hole in the top corner. There are two small seam splits along the bottom edge (each less than an inch (show in pics). This is an extremely tough find and this one plays well and looks decent. Come check it out for yourself. Price $275.00

1968 THEM -Now and Them Rare Canadian CAPITAL 6000 Stereo Pressing

Artist: Them, Title: Now-and “Them”, Label: Capital Canada ST-6278, Matrix #:ST1-5105-W1, ST2_5104_W1 Year of Release:1968, Grading Method: Play, and Visual,, Goldmine Grade : Vinyl: VG-VG+, :Cover: G, Notes: This Stereo version is one of the harder to track down records in the Capital 6000 series released by Capital Records Canada. This is the first release after Van Morrison left the band to persue his solo career. Kenny McDowell was brought in to take on the daunting task of replacing Van. To his credit, he didn’t just imitate Vans sound and delivery, he made this record his own. Still maintaining there british beat and blues sound, they begin to experiment with a more Psychedelic sound most noticeable on the nearly 10 minute long Square Room track. Very dark and reminiscent of the Doors The End. This copy plays exceptionally clean. No skips, jumps, or loud pops, only the occasional “tick” only noticeable on the quiet run outs. Visually the vinyl does have some light sleeve scuffs, and occasional light scratch but these do not affect play, the vinyl is nice and shiny and has clearly been cared for and not mishandled over its 48 year life. The cover has some visible ring wear, the seams are intact with the exception of a small split (less than a ½ inch) at the top front right corner. Someone has written the letters”bb” on the cover and it does have a promo/delete drill hole. Over all a nice collectable and very playable copy of this tough to find LP. Rush’s first self titled release on the bands own Moon Records Label. According to Discogs only 3500 were pressed and it quickly sold out. Later they signed with the Mercury label which re-released this album under the Mercury Label. This copy plays exceptionally clean. No skips, jumps, or loud pops, only the occasional “tick” or quiet “pop” only noticeable on the quiet run outs. Visually the vinyl does have some light sleeve scuffs, but these do not affect play, the vinyl is nice and shiny and has clearly been cared for and not mishandled over its 41 year life. The cover has some slight scuffing, and surface wear here and there, but displays nicely. Short of the sealed copy on ebay right now for $25,000 U.S. I doubt you could find a nicer copy for sale.
